Manoro was my Level Design examination at the Games Academy Berlin. The task was to design a world, define regions with their own properties, design a quest line and build one single location in the UDK as a 3D environment.
Manoro is set in a medieval fantasy world in which the player hunts down the nomad lord Agran who searches an artifact to gain more power and be able to declare war to the nations and conquer a home for his tribe. The player faces his enemy at the old mage college of Manoro right after Agran conquered it and killed most inhabitants. I chose to build the destroyed college as a 3D environment in the UDK with the standard-assets.
